Ogoja, Cross River State – May 30, 2025
In a powerful demonstration of compassion and commitment to education, Capt. Hart Modey’s Foundation launched Batch A of its flagship initiative, “Send A Child Back to School,” reaching out to underserved children in three primary schools in Ogoja: Community Primary School Mbagide, St. Andrew Primary School Adagom, and St. Theresa Primary School Abakpa.
The Foundation generously provided essential school supplies including:
- New School Uniforms
- Durable School Bags
- Writing Materials
- Comfortable School Sandals
These items were distributed free of charge to pupils who are eager to learn but often held back by economic hardship. The aim is to remove barriers to education and rekindle the joy of learning in every child.

This outreach brought smiles, laughter, and renewed hope to the faces of hundreds of school children, many of whom now have the means and motivation to return to school confidently. The schools’ teachers and community members warmly received the Foundation’s team, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the timely and impactful intervention.
“Meeting these children, hearing their dreams, and sharing joyful moments with them was an unforgettable experience,” shared one volunteer. “Their gratitude reminds us why we do what we do.”
This initiative reflects the deep belief of Capt. Hart Modey and his team in the transformative power of education. Their goal is not just to donate, but to ignite dreams, restore dignity, and give every child a fighting chance at a better future.
The Foundation is not slowing down. Batch B and other outreach efforts are already in the works, targeting more schools and communities in need.
From all of us at Capt. Hart Modey’s Foundation: We are proud of this mission, and we remain committed to doing more.
To Capt. Hart Modey, your vision and generosity are changing lives.
